Do you believe we are at War?
Some Americans simple say no, others, place it low on a list of more pressing concerns. We all remember the bombings of the American Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the death of 241 American Servicemen in Lebanon, the attack on the USS Cole and the first strike on the World Trade Center in 1993. Each of these events brought us closer to where we are today. We are and have been fighting on multiple fronts throughout the world for many years. As painful as it is we need to wisely and vigilantly remember these events, understanding just who and what we are now up against. It is the Fascist Islamic Movement (Jihadist) that has placed us on this road to war. Deigning we are engaged in this war will not bring our country any closer to peace.
With in the Muslim religion there are five columns or spiritual elements. The first is to WITNESS, the second is PRAYER, the third, PILGRIMAGES, the fourth, FASTING and the fifth is ALMS. During the seventh century a sixth column, JIHAD, was added. Jihad has the purpose of defending the faith from all outside attacks as well as spreading the teachings of Islam. The ebb and flow of history causes Countries to rise and fall but there is a core within the faith that never varies and never falters from its goal of expanding Islam and Sharia Law. It can never be satisfied, never be relinquished as witness by Abdul Rahman who tried to peacefully turn from Islam to Christianity. In Rahmans case the decision of the wise and gracious Muslim religious leaders was to remove His head.
Radical Muslims have been striking at our country for a very long time. Seeing our timid response during the 1990's only embolden their determination. It was not until after September 11th that this country seriously struck back. America will continue to be the target of attacks until that time we are unable or unwilling to step in front of the Jihadist expansion. There are those in this country, even in our Congress, who only see political opportunities in this current struggle and in doing so undermine our troops as well as weaken our resolve. We must include in a list of those who wish America ill to include the American media, Socialist in both Congress and Academia and of coarse the ACLU.
